Prepared programs include:
Young children usually see a general fire safety program that includes how to use 9-1-1, how to get out of a fire, smoke detectors, and stop-drop-and-roll.
Older children and teens usually see a more in depth program such as “What to do Until the Ambulance Arrives”, or merit badge programs for scouts.
Adults usually enjoy demonstrations of equipment and hearing how the department operates. Each adult program is usually relatively free-free form. Based on interaction with the participants, crews will tailor content to the event.
We also frequently visit neighborhood parties and perform “free-form” programs. We will try to accomodate requests for special programs. If you would like to schedule a tour or visit, please call (513) 574-4111 or email the Fire Education office.
