Yard Trimming Drop Off 2020


In compliance with Governor DeWine’s Stay at Home Order issued on March 22, 2020, the Hamilton County Yard Trimming Drop-off Sites will close effective Tuesday, March 24. We will reevaluate the program’s status on April 6, continuing to follow the directives of the Governor’s office.

West: NEW LOCATION!  — Oakdale Elementary School  — 3850 Virginia Court, Green Township
(Replacing former site at Kuliga Park)

North: Rumpke Landfill — Struble Road and Colerain Avenue, Colerain Township MAP
East: Bzak Landscaping — 3295 Turpin Lane (off Rt. 32), Anderson Township MAP

2020 Hours:

The Yard Trimming Drop-off Sites are open:

March 28, 2020 – December 6, 2020
Saturdays and Sundays, from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All Yard Trimming Drop-off Sites will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 12 and Independence Day, Saturday, July 4.

Bzak is open Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. — 5 p.m. in addition to hours listed above; closed on Monday, May 25, Monday, September 7, and Thursday, November 26.


Brush and tree branches must be cut into lengths of 4 feet or less and must be no larger than 12 inches in diameter.

Brush and tree branches must be bundled. Bundles must not be heavier than 50 pounds.

Yard trimmings must be brought to locations in containers or bags – brown paper bags preferred.

Containers and plastic bags will be returned.

Yard trimmings in commercial vehicles or from commercial establishments cannot be accepted.

No large trailers or trucks larger than pickups.

No pallets, boards, nails, fence, or wire accepted.

No bricks, stones, or soil accepted.

Illegal dumping prohibited.

All children must stay inside vehicles.

Hamilton County residents only.
