Achieved third highest attendance year of the Art Museum in 2011. Secured capital funding through major individual gift solicitations to renovate the Historic Former Art Academy building; construction has begun on the project with estimated completion in spring 2013. Work closely with all members of the Board of Trustees to develop and implement long term strategic goals, with focus on Nominating & Governance and Development Committees of the Board.

University of Cincinnati Foundation, Cincinnati, Ohio

Oversaw major gift fundraising from corporations for the University of Cincinnati, a Tier One research institution with an endowment of roughly $1 billion. Managed relationships with 100 largest Cincinnati corporations and 50 national corporations, researched to identify new donors, and worked to increase their direct support. Supervised team that oversaw an additional 200 corporations. Coordinated with 16 units all activities with corporations to ensure that the university maximized the relationships. Worked with President’s office to establish procedures for effective communications between the University leadership and corporations for developing and applying strategies to obtain significant campaign gifts. UC began a billion dollar campaign in 2005.

Identified, cultivated, solicited, and stewarded major gift funds in 11 southern states for the University of Cincinnati. Acted as liaison for UC Presidents through two changes, University Vice Presidents, College Deans, and Unit Officers to develop gift solicitation programs and provide leadership in gift programs on behalf of and in cooperation with schools, colleges, and units. Managed a portfolio of Cincinnati prospects with which there is an established personal relationship.
