Linda Griswold began employment with Green Township in January 2002 as Director of Finance. Prior to joining the Township, she was a School
Treasurer in the State of Ohio for over 16 years. The background in government accounting led to a good match for the needs of the financial future of the Township.

Linda received a Master of Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace University and holds a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University. She continues to maintain financial updates thru attending webinars and meetings pertaining to governmental accounting.

Linda is a member of both the National and Ohio Government Finance Officers Association and continues membership in the Ohio Association of School Business Officials organization. She had served two terms on the Ohio Government Finance Officers Board of Directors during her tenure with Green Township representing townships in Ohio.

The position of Director of Finance is responsible for maintaining the Township's Financial Records. This includes overseeing, safeguarding, and managing the funds responsibly. Checks and balances are in place to be compliant with Federal, State, and Local mandates as required.

Linda has been a resident of Fairfield Ohio with her husband Ken for over 20 years. She was originally from Northeast Ohio and met Ken while working in the State of Montana. They both have a love for fur babies and are the proud owners of a Pomeranian.
