MEDIC BIKE TEAM

The Green Township Department of Fire and EMS medic bike team provides first aid and emergency medical care at public events in Green Township and other areas. They are specially trained to operate their bikes in crowded or other difficult locations. The bikes are outfitted with medical equipment especially designed for this use including small defibrillators, oxygen bottles and other supplies making it easier to get critical medical assistance to people in distress who are in difficult to access locations. This will help team members to stabilize patients until they can be transported for more definitive care.
