Notice of Construction for Green Township

Traffic Alert for Taylor Road

CINCINNATI – The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD) will begin constructing a local sanitary sewer and lateral sewers along Taylor Road and Springoak Drive in Green Township in early September. The project is scheduled to be completed by summer 2025, pending weather and field conditions.

Taylor Road will be closed to thru traffic between Rybolt and Bridgetown roads starting around September 9 for approximately 60 days. Access for local traffic will be maintained throughout the project, but there could be delays.

MSD’s contractor, Smith & Brown Contractors, will generally be working from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some weekend work may be needed. Smith & Brown will be installing about 1,300 feet of new sewer line and 18 lateral sewers. The new sewers will bring public sewer service to 18 homes along Taylor Road and Springoak Drive.

Typical construction-related disturbances such as noise, dirt, and vibrations should be expected during this project. If a planned interruption of utility service is necessary, you will receive notification prior to the interruption.

MSD Press Release

The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD) will begin construction of a new sanitary sewer in the vicinity of the Stonebridge Estates subdivision in Green Township in January 2024. The project is scheduled to be completed by or before spring 2025, pending weather and field conditions. Werk Road will be periodically down to one lane between Bridgestone Court and Countrywoods Lane during daylight hours Monday through Friday, with a flagger used to direct traffic.
