Citizen’s Police Academy

The Green Township Police Department periodically sponsors a Citizens Police Academy (GTPCA). The eleven-week program meets once a week and includes classroom instruction on a broad range of law enforcement topics, demonstrations, and hands-on experience with a use of force/firearms simulator. Field trips are made to other facilities, such as the Hamilton County Communication Center.

Graduates of the Citizens Academy are eligible to join the Green Township Police Citizens Academy Alumni, Inc. (GTPCAA)
